The goals and aspirations of Regulating Resolutions include

  • Collaborative independence for master’s level clinical psychologists

  • Agency in the practice of psychology, including psychotherapy

  • Compassionate advocacy for LLPs and TLLPs including reducing misinformation

  • Support for other master’s level therapists who have gained independent licensure

With the support, advocacy, and compassionate encouragement of Dr. Cater Comrie, our clinical supervisor, we strive to help LLPs heal from bad experiences and unburden themselves from the messaging that they are lesser. Regulating Resolutions is here to provide compassionate and supportive experiences to those of us master’s licensed clinical psychologists who have been mistreated, exploited, and/or abused. For those of us that have been spared or are entering the field, we are committed to ensuring appropriate, respectful, pleasant experiences worthy of longevity of our work together.

Are you a Limited License Psychologist?

Regulating Resolutions specializes in working with master’s level clinical psychologists.

  • Have you experienced exploitation, mistreatment, and/or abuse from a group practice, a clinical supervisor, or other work environment because of your license type?

  • Have you experienced confusion or incorrect treatment of your license type, clinical skills, or scope of practice?

  • Are you tired of seeing advertisements for contractor and job positions that exclude LLPs?

  • Would you like collaborative independence and agency in your practice?

Dianne Goetsch, LLP founded Regulating Resolutions with the intention to provide safety within a competent group practice for other master’s licensed clinical psychologists in Michigan.  Dianne and Regulating Resolutions are passionate about building a radically honest, non-exploitative, balanced, uplifting, supportive network of psychologists and improving group practice conditions for LLPs and TLLPs.

1099 vs. W-2? How did you choose?:

There has recently been a lot of discussion about private practices operating with independent contractors (1099) versus employees (W-2). Regulating Resolutions works with an attorney, a CPA/CFA, a private practice consultant, and other professions on an ongoing basis to ensure ethical, legal, and conscientious services and business operations. Our team of advisors has promoted an employment (W-2) model of operation and has advised on appropriate laws, rules, and boundaries for practicing in this way.
